I don't know where you heard such nonsense! i am an orthodox Jew and i and the rest of my family and friends have had numerous pets so don't spread lies! and i beg to differ, Judaism is NOT dying! its remained strong all these thousands of years and it will contine to flourish despite all the redujice and hatred we are faced with. he have survived until now, and we will continue surviving.
