Stalin just did it on a bigger scale.

If Stalin was the monster, Lenin was the Dr. Frankenstein. & the Soviet Union was the real monster, Stalin only the head.
Why the hell was he laying flowers on Stalin's grave on LENIN'S birthday? That makes no damn sense.
I don't like Zyuganov. Never have. He seems to be willing to pardon Stalin for all the shit he did. And why he has to pull that shit on Lenin's birthday, I have no idea. I hope the Russian Communist Party will get some better leaders soon.
Amen to that, comrade. Unfortunately, it seems that the only Trotskyist group in Russia is Socialist Resistance (section of the CWI), and another group. But there is still hope: the CPRF is one of the country's biggest parties, so a changing of the guard would be great. In the Czech Republic and Japan, the CPs are thriving and enormous (the Japanese CP really benefited from the economic downturn).
This is what like about Russia. They don't consider their Communist past like a shame like Nazi Germany or something. They embrace it as a tradition and not something bad.
Because Communism was never imposed on the working people but arose from the people to crush the capitalist and feudal elites. The capitalists in Germany used the Nazi-fascists to crush the working class organizations. Fascism is capitalist; Communism is of the working class. The USSR, like the Paris Commune, is the Glorious past of Humanity. Communism is the Shining Future.
