Huh, not bad. A member from The Cottars, Ciaran MacGillivray, who's a friend of mine, plays the guitar you hear at the beginning of the song. It's the 5th song on the Forerunner album titles "Some Polkas". They hail from the Mira. Well, Ciaran and Fiona do. I don't know much about the 2 new members. I'm partial to the old Cottars with Jimmy and Rosie myself. Great band non the less. And they are great people. Very down to earth. I'm glad you took the time to learn this. You did great.
You know people from the Cottars? That is amazing! Never know the people you'll find on youtube. Yes, they are a grand group - though sadly I dont have any of their albums as of yet (learned this one off it repeatedly showing up on pandora internet radio - the tune got stuck in my head from that and one day I discovered that I could play it....rather odd). I often wish this sort of music were more popular around here - I am from Tennessee so it's mostly county music round here......:-/
