I’m so glad I heard this again. It made such an impression on me when I heard it on John Peel’s show back in the Eighties. Then when I read about his death in the music press it shocked me so much.

I heard he was killed for his political views. A fantastic writer/ poet , storyteller.

my school's drama magnet put together a black history performance of skits and monologues. this girl i know did this piece and she did it soo well, she made everyone laugh! :DD i had to look up the piece. very nice!
