Looks a good camcorder.

Theres also a lot of wide angle adaptors etc to fit the 37mm front thread.

The first extras I would buy fior this are a big memory card, spare battery and wide angle adaptor.

The video was taken on the lowest possible quality with the highest compression setting: I had very little room left on my card after shooting stills on a Canon 1Ds Mark III.

Is this video taken on the HF200? If so, the quality looks pretty bad.

I just ordered my HF200 over the HF20 as I don't need an internal memory.

Do you think I could use the Rode Videomic, do I need to buy any extra mounts or whatever it needs?

You won't need any other connections for the Rode VideoMic for the HF200.

ive had my eye on this camcorder for a while now and i wanted to know if this is a camcoder worth buying for skateboarding. ive seen the hf s10/100 and its qaulity looks better but the obtical stabilizer looks like crap. which one would u prefer for skateboarding.

the hf200 is great for sk8boarding filming especially with a opteka .43X fisheye but the s10 is better but its like double the price

To be fair, the camera was on the highest compression setting I could get it to work on; I only had a 2GB SD card that was mostly full.
