If you are a clicker it is NOT PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE to play as good as a keybinder, the best clicker in the world vs the best keybinder... keybinder will ALWAYS win, i have no idea why people dont keybind... it takes like a week to get used to and it boosts your reaction speed by like 25%

well it seems when: cause this is a TBC arena and in TBC warrior mace spec had a chance to land a stun on the oppent on hit. and sword 5% chance to give a second swing, now mace spec ignores X% armour and sword spec has 10% chance but also 6 seconds cooldown. there both good, u just gotta choose what u like/fits the most

I, however, am a Tauren resto and I can rarely get away long enough to have a decent drink because I can't stealth ..

+ I'm not very good at keeping the pet off me to get out of combat and trying to kill it often results in wasted efforts.

If the Hunter isnt on you and its just the pet you just hibernate him on the bridge jump down and go cat form then drink then stealth. usually wont work if you hav a hunters mark on you or a priest throws his dot on you but if your in the lower bracket that usually cuts it. another thing i found usefull when fighting a warrior pally comp is just cyclone pally for full effect then enroot warrior, go cheetah and split across field, if judgement of justice is on you just stay ToL

Dreamspirit, even though this is one of your earlier vid's, you should of use Abolish Poison more in this match, you need to predict the hunters Viper Sting and Abolish Poison to remove it straight away, Apart from that, this is a really good match.

Hibernate is useless if the hunter is beast mastery. Enrage makes them both immune to CC for the duration of the effect.

If you weren't noob, u should keep Hibernate on ur action bars and use it on pet so u could drink.

But yeah, Druid-Warr will always pwn because of mortal strike (healing on target reduction) and lifebloom spam and a ocasional rejuv-swiftmend to fill up and 500k of skills to CC. Plus bear form (+400%armor). Plus travel form to run. And frenzied regen. Oh, and lifebloom spam.

Oh, and NE druids always drink+shadowmeld when "leaving combat" appears on screen. Did i mention the lifebloom spam?

For you Newchaos190, the hunter can always cast scatter shot and wait for phsycic scream CD to come up if it isn't already up and is saving it for fearing a healer or cast intimidation to give the priest a chance to get away, i'm a preist and i've got 2100+ with a hunter and we where both in full s3 during season 4. it's a quite effective team.

priets hunter def works, made it 1900 in a day pretty good gear, 3/5s4(thats with s4 helm, s2 shoulds, and s1 chest, you need do trap the dps alot, and if the enemy healer can dispel trap, doesnt matter to me, just put pressure and mana drains on healer and he wont have time to dispel, in the meantme you preits heals/drinks, works well, but hunter druid will usually win since preist cant dispel viper sting.

Scatter + trap, Wingclip and Fear do wonders. Point of the combo is to burn other teams mana fast. The priest should know how to line of sight so if the trap resists or whatever, the priest can line of sight the dps for 30 seconds or so and put wingclip up on the dps and it will be much easier to pillar kite him.

i know this cause im paired up w/ a survival hunter, and true dreamspirit about eating traps, that effs us up, normally though druids like to break away and my hunter will chase you down, throw out an aoe frost trap/wing clip you and stay on you to keep you on D, while i (a disc. priest) kite war. away and DOT him to about 40-50%, then hunter puts his pet on war, wyvern shots you, i run over, fear you and we take out your precious warrior :)

I do not understand why this was a difficult comp for you. As a druid you are able to dispel Viper Sting immediately upon its application. You can easily shift into bear form to avoid mana burns so that essentially negates Hunter/Priest as a drain team towards you. As far as getting out of combat to drink goes, you should never come close to becoming oom. The enemy hunter is marksmanship giving him considerably low burst compared to a BM hunter, hots alone will keep your partner up.

I've found that killing the pet is usually a waste since the hunter can just CC both of us and 4 second imp pet rez. We prefer to use hamstring liberally, or go in for a pet kill if I seem to be running behind in mana, but as long as the pet is alive and taking damage, it's spending the priest's mana to heal it if we give it a poke now and then. ;)

Warlocks pets are a different story (or BM hunter pets).

If you can get the pet down and keep it down, that's fine, but I also prefer to have the pet up so I can "eat" hunter traps instead of my warrior partner, and since the pet is on me: it instantly breaks, so I actually use the pet in my own favor. :)

As a side note, on very rare occasions we lose to Warrior/Druid in Blade's Edge, aka Druid's paradise. Of course the Druid must be NE for Shadowmeld drinks, which is just freakin' overpowered in arena.

My Hunter/Priest team just freezes/fear/MC Warrior on cooldown and chase down Druid. We don't attack Warrior except for smoking out the Druid, to mitigate his rage. Yea it takes awhile, especially if Druid is looking to eat the traps, but always ends in victory for us.

Well, at the brackets of 2k+, very rarely are ANY combos "easy," at that point teams have the ability to try to out-think and outplay each other in hella creative ways (I had a 47 minute match vs a disc priest + mm hunter the other day when I was playing druid + warrior, and the two of them had trapping my warrior down to a damn SCIENCE. It was INCREDIBLE). That was on Nagrand.

I will admit though: RoL has to be my least favorite map for being VS Hunters. I have trouble "eatting" traps

In Season 1, druids used it quite frequently since it lasted 30-40 seconds, and was WONDERFUL for pets.

Now that it only lasts 10 seconds (like any other CC), it is rarely useable, in my own experience, since damage breaks on any bleeds/dots/damage (and hunter pets have such high resilience to nature-based spells). Using root is a lot more reliable, and then my warrior can hamstring and further delay the pet. ;)

Now that I'm playing with a warrior more regularly (and at higher ratings), I've gotten a lot better and try to eat as many traps as possible (either the scatter/trap ones or the "run and drop" sort. :)

I've also gotten better at eating traps in bear form rather than night elf (which I've done by accident once or twice), as I found I can be vipered and mana burned while trapped, much to my dismay.

All a learning experience anyway. ;) Thanks so much for the tips!

Thats one of the easy combos to beat... Warrior gets on hunter druid goes bear and stands on top of the druid with him when a trap goes down warrior takes a step back and druid eats the trap so DPS dosent stop when the priest goes oom switch and kill priest or u can stay on hunter and druid f-charge / Cyclones the priest GG u never get mana burned and dont take hardly any damage

Hey there! At 2k+, this combo still can give us a run for our money if they play it right (for instance: am happy to bearform eat traps, but I've seen more and more hunters scarebeasting me I try to do just that, and then they aim-shot and hard DPS me while my partner is feared, the priest comes in for a second fear on me, and they silencing shot, viper/scatter/mana burn when I come out to heal. ;) Very tricksy!

We're definitely improved, though. Doing DPS switches (as you mentioned)

I play resto druid in 2's and against drain teams, it's about LOS, not out of range. That's a bad bad bad idea. You want to have to make them run their asses all the way to you while you're LOS'd while you drink (not just sit and drink so you get flared).

I tend to do a little of both simply because the more time they spend chasing me, the more/longer I can drink (travel form will vastly outrun two players and or a pet that my warrior keeps hamstringed), but both LoS and OOR are situation and have a powerful place when you know when to use them. :)

If my partner pulls it off particularly well, I can also potentially kitty stealth and scamper off and drink, so the hunter won't even know where to flare. ;)
