if you'd like you could help them out by contacting RAIPON. I've tried to get them to make a website and start selling some of their crafts online to everyone, but they are not skilled and not organized and out of touch with what's outside Russia. They need voulenteers to set them up in that respect. The guys close to the Alaska border had a chance to get in touch with the inuit in US and Canada and that's about it. RAIPON is centered in Moscow so no wonder it has issues.

Beautiful culture.... but I really don't see any theat from drilling a few holes in the ground a threat to the Nenets. A ton of space up there and they aren't running out space anytime soon. The culture can still be preserved while extracting oil from ANWR. Either way its going to benefits the country plenty.
