Man, when I first turned this game on I was blown away by the mix of nostalgia and futuristic ninja stuff. This game is one of the most overlooked PS2 titles ever. Gameplay, story, character design and music are absolutely fantastic!

I just hope one day Shinobi will return in the same fashion.

I never played this game. I wish I did but I can't find it anywhere. It's not even availible on Gamefly! Shinobi 3 is one of the best games on the Genesis and I want to see where they went with the series on the PS2.

Strider is almost in the same rank of hotsuma, he battle all the army of the GrandMaster Meio and even a former comrade..Strider Hien, but Strider´s sword Cypher generates plasma one hit kill in most cases and it cannot harm him ...thats why the ranking goes like this

1- Hotsuma

2-Strider Hiryu

3 Ryu Hayabusa

4- all other ninjas
