  • i recently tried using manuka honey as a form of antibiotic treatment for my acne and ot does nothing.

  • Minocycline did work for me but I don't like to take pharmaceuticals unless I absolutely have to. Who wants to be on antibiotics forever? Of course, I am always of the opinion that the least amount of pharmaceuticals you can take is the best!!

  • Reduce your sebums in your face, the bacteria will have nothing to feed on and be reduced. This will let your face to be acne free in the long run, just balance your hormones to reduce sebums.

  • @jiannj

    with what?

There are products but only for women

  • @bigwhiteballs27 Idk but if you know how to balance your hormones, you will reduce acne, thats for sure, reseacrch about hormonal imbalance. One example is last year I have lots of acne but, this year I only got 1 or 2 pimple sometimes not even any. Why is that so? It is because last year I have a final graduation exam and I worried for it whole year, stress also cause hormonal imbalance btw.

  • Tetracycline has done wonders for me... It even took out a cyst I've had in my cheek for a year...

  • @treemagnet88 i used that for about 6 months and now im breaking out super bad and im wondering if im resistant, did you ever break out super bad after being on it for awhile

  • @Ch33ky360 It starts to lose its potency after a while, yes. If you've been taking it every 12 hours or so, you might want to try every 10 hours. And if you're masturbating, that's another thing I know exacerbates it significantly.

  • 3)

scientists are not doing enough to find a cure for such a disease, less government funding for such fields of research, all this capitalist cunts are exploiting people by bringing un effective products. Tell me one person suffering from this problem who is 100% satisfied by one product produced . non. So try to get scientist work on this field instead of wasting your time lookin for irrelevant information

  • dan it looks like you dont know much about what your talking about...1) benzoyl peroxides are proven to burn the skin cauzing scares and red dots on the skin and they are really bad chemicals 2) antibiotics are too risky to try because of their bacteria resistance they creates..

  • Yeah antibiotics..minocin or minocyclin *can't remember name* did knock out a lot of acne. * (I took it nearly 5 years ago) Like probably 40-60 percent, so I was content with that but I noticed I had to slowly keep upping my dosage. I went from taking 2 pills a day to nearly 6, that was when I said enough my body was becoming immune to it. I don't use BP anymore but I agree its better than antibiotics!

  • is that an iphonee? sorry, thats the only thing i focused onnn, hah.

  • @bellagirl121

    Of course, you're a girl

  • i'm taking minocycline 100 mg. for my acne my derm was going to give me accutane but she said we will start with minocycline first

what do you think about that?

  • bleh minocycline didnt work for me at all! i was on 100mg and was told to double when it got bad.

  • It is obvious you have never had severe cystic acne. If you don't know what you're talking about, then don't say anything. I can personally tell you that you will do anything, and that includes taking accutane and the side effects it (can possible) come with.

  • @springzor

I had severe cystic acne, and if I could go back now and not take accutane, I wouldn't have.

  • @JJarv213 I'm not sure I understand your statement. Are you saying that you took Accutane and now regret it? Or are you saying that you took Accutane and would go back and do it again if you could because it helped you?

  • This is pretty cool info...thanks

  • thanks dan
