And shots to the limbs??? Were police officers trained to do that?? I doubt so. What I believe is that POLICE officers SHOOT to IMMOBILISE the assailant or subject...

Therefore... the Ability, Oppurtunity & Jeopardy must be presence at that point of time. Without it, the officer is not justified to open fire. ..

If an officer targetted the non-vital areas & the shot ends up hitting the vital point, I believe the officer carried out his duty well and actually shoots to IMMOBILISE the subject & not to "KILL" the subject as this involved the LIFE of a PERSON. It takes up a lot of courage to pull off the trigger. Physically & Mentally....

I really appreaciate if we cud reflect & think if that "Old Man" were our loved ones. Our father. Our uncle. Our grandfather. Our brother. What will our feelings be......

2) A real gun is not like a controller or a mouse or an arcade gun... Making an accurate shot is more difficult than it seems... expecially from a revolver...

The police is guilty. He could have shot his leg instead he shot him at the chest, obviously he wanted that victim to be dead. What if the victim has mental illness, he wasnt aware of what he's doing?

Look, the man had stabbed someone earlier as the report said, he is a public danger, and now he's planning to stab an officer. When a man comes charging at you like that, and you have to make a decision, the best decision in a flash, what would you do?

Well, it's all for the greater good. Since what he did was what was taught in the Police Academy, I believe they will praise him for excercising his duties well instead of making him feel like a criminal just because there are many follow ups needed after that. ;)

he was told to drop his weapon and turn around but the suspect refuse to do so and charging towards the officer with the knife. Officers have the every right to open fire in close range to the suspect as he was armed and dangerous and he's attacking the officer... shooting him down was an act of protection to the officers and the public safety... WELL DONE CENTRAL DIV!!!!!
