When you listen to this song, and this musician sing it and play it like he does, you are listening to a musician that has every atom of his being permeated with pure heart felt inspiration to be able to bring this song out like he does, I have searched youtube to hear others play and sing it, and none other can play it and sing it like he does. I saw him in the late 90´s when I was living in Winnipeg. One of the best concerts of my life. He was playing right in front of me, and I could not believe what I saw and heard. He was fantastic, and a person with a heart of gold. I have just realized he died, almost exactly one year ago. My heart is broken.

Truly one of the most explosive guitarists of all time! He spit lightning from his fingers and rocked every time that he played, sad to see him go. Guess we're stuck with music sampling and other phony forms of music. Guys like Kanye should stop proclaiming themselves musical wonders and try to play some stuff like this or stevie ray vaughn, could never happen- damn music has changed. He was good friends with my parents, and got to sing with him at a gig for my dad's b-day when I was 5. That was only 8-9 years ago. I can't believe my old gig buddy died....makes me really sad.

My wife and I have been together for 20 years and Angel Eyes was 1 of maybe 6 songs that we thoroughly enjoyed listening to back then! Very memorable song ! I saw the announcement of his death on the news and was very saddened by that!! He will definately be missed!!R.I.P. Mr. Healey!!

I loved this tribute of Jeff! Both of his children look so much like him, simply gorgeous. Through his music, Jeff has been a huge part of my life and has been for so many years that he's like family. I had named one of my sons Jeffrey because of him. When my son died we played "Life Beyond The Sky" at his funeral. Not your traditional music, of course, but it seemed fitting. I hope Jeff finds peace in his "Life Beyond The Sky". God bless his family. Thank you Jeff for all you gave the world.

This is tragic. He was my Living Legend. Ever since seeing "Roadhouse" for the first time, is when I came to know him. His Version of Jimi's "Angel" is so incredible.
