I just wonder did he ever play a straight role? Why actors who have come out seem to only get gay roles on TV/screen? Isn't it totally unnecessary?

@mayssi2007 You're right, it is unnecessary. Peter did play a straight character in 'Bones' - well, sort of, 'cause that character was even more nelly than Emmett in QAF, but he said some women find it attractive (there may be some truth here, lol). And Bobby Gant is out too, and he plays a lot of straight characters on TV, due to his appearance.
