What I like about this game is, you have to follow orders or in the end you will ultimately lose.

Yeah, I'll admit taking orders from a complete stranger seems a little awkward, but once you're in the game you feel almost compelled to take orders from someone, it gives a small sense of purpose in the game unlike arcade shooters where it's just run and gun, basically every man for themselves.

Talking is organized so that only a platoon can hear each other, their squad leader can hear them, and the commander can hear the squad leaders. Its supposed to organize things.

yeah it was but then i got to play mag and the only thing thats gonna hold that game back is the players it was fun the graphics were decent no MW2 but decent but the Command system seemed like a waste of time, it worked well at first i was even surprized to see people taking orders from a complete stranger, then MW2 was released and everyone on the beta left to play it. the Devs trying to save some fanbase made the gameplay easier its a real shame i got MW2 and its fun but i really wted this

I own a Gaming PC,Wii and PS3. If you bought The Conduit for the Wii, that was the worst most lag-fest game ever. And if this game is like that, the it will suck. BUT, it wont be lmao. This game will probably have less lag then COD4,WAW or Modern Warfare 2.

I'm in favor of this game. But I do detect a flaw with the 256 player feature. Not because of possible lag, but imagine over a hundred people talking on their headsets at once. Well, unless it's only the leader who gets to talk.

In MAG, you only talk to your squad. Your in a squad which is part of a bigger army. So you never talk to other squads, which in turn reduces the confusion over the mics.

I think it will be like battlefield with talking, The Commander talks to the squad leaders and the squad leaders talk to their squads and the squad can talk to each other. Other wise it will be amazingly hectic.

this will not be ported to 360... 2 reasons why... 1 360 doesn't have a cell processor that can calculate 2 trillion equations per second like sony's to make this possible. 2 is that zipper is a part of sony and has been loyal to them since socom on the ps2... i would seriously doubt they will give away specs on lag free gaming to microsoft... :)

I find it humorous that the creators of this game expect players to have a commander and listen to them. The reality is, most online gamers, especially on PS3, are juvenile immature brats that don't even listen to their own parents, expecting them to listen in game and make an immersive experience is laughable.

What you will get, is one "squad" of 128 people refusing to communicate unless its to say "fuck you faggot" or "you took my kill". And they will go in whatever direction causing a mess..

Personally I think Operation Flashpoint 2 will be much more realistic/fun than this game. And there won't really be problems with anyone not listening to the squad leader in multiplayer because I believe each player controls 3 NPCs.
