Very nice recording! Gandoca is a wonderful area. Birds in this recording include Keel-billed and Chestnut-mandibled Toucans, Chestnut-backed Antbird, Short-billed Pigeon, Pale-billed Woodpecker, Montezuma Oropendola, Long-billed Gnatwren, Western Slaty Antshrike, Black-cheeked Woodpecker, and Stripe-breasted Wren.
Thanks for posting this, great job I tried to do a similar audio recording in Guatemala but could not get the same amazing quality heard here, what type of equipment did you use? I play this on loop mode in my garden and makes me feel in Central America again, thanks again!
@ChicaElenita I can understand possibly... I have a house there and we live in PARADISE. But only on Thanksgiving, Spring break, and a month long trip in summer! The rest we live in Texas.
@ChicaElenita I miss all central and South American jungles. Try this Canadian winter, there is no life out there, nobody wants to get frozen at -40 really an unhospitable place without technology to keep us alive and warm.

This is fantastic whoever recorded it. I can play this all day at home and it'll give me peace and serenity. I got some birds, cats and other critters that really enjoy this also. Makes one feel your really there in the Costa Rican jungle. At least the soundscape. However you did this, it's a great job. Thanks
