omfg this movie was the best movie i had ever seen! it's like almost 3 hours long but well worth it. special effects are kick-ass! way better than independance day, i think. but this is my opinion. can't wait till it's on dvd. watching the movie reminded me when i was a kid, playing with my transformers. ah, those were the days! :-)

I watched it in gold class the second day it was out here in Australia. What a great love story. I mean there was a hot chick with a jerk boyfriend. She went the nice guy main character in the end. Michael Bay just thought of that idea and it has never been used before. I think there was a robot fight at the end. But wow, what a great story that wasn't about transformers at all.

Jazz dies in the end in a fight against The decepticons. But the other 4 survive, only to stay on earth with Sam Whitwicky and the chick, who becomes his girlfriend. All the decepticons die except for Starscream who escapes in the end leadin us to believe there will be a sequel. Also they dump the dead decepticon bodies in the ocean, meaning they could probably be ressurected and repaired or something :)

I just went and watched it for the second time leaving all my G1 expectations behind...now I take back all the negative things I said before about the movie.

I have to admit It indeed is an awesome movie, but maybe for a Tf fan from the 80's, it takes a little bit of extra "warm-up" time to become really love this movie.

I won't be surprised to see one of the Transformers start smoking from the hood. It's already quite an accomplishment the Transformers made it to earth from space considering they're American cars. They must have a fleet of Autobot towtrucks working around the clock. GM and Ford should consider sending their cars into space where they can float off and form a junkyard planet after they break down.
