It is funny you would say the Rahsaan wanna be comment. Although they may sound similar i am sure he has no intention to want to be him. How many Artist on the radio sound alike, but yet they all claim to be different. Actually I have seen this guy live, and he does a great show. I love Rahsaan as well. I say keep it up for him, at least that is a good comparison.
Background sounds Good...Lead singer sounds good to but i would think would be even better if they would bring it down a key or two to give him more room to work with his natural range, otherwise nice rendition!

The chords in the Refrain are WRONG! But anything else and his voice sounds very nice.
