I've always wanted some of these memory cards the led's actually are for seeing the load on the memory u can see if it is being tapped out of all of the useful memory or load
I used to have this in my Pentium 4 ASUS Mobo. I miss the Corsair blinky RAM. The current Crucial Ballistix "tracers" are CORNY!! I'd rather have a computer that looks like a server closet than one that looks like a Vegas toilet paper dispenser.
its possible ram and chipset vendors are hiding that performance spec nowadays, if some say caches on cpus dont cache ram anymore, if that has any thruth, then what does determine how much ram can be cached by the L2 nowadays any puter savvy people know?
Have you googled 'too much ram ? and why its possible to have to much?! Does any one remember 'tag ram' and cacheable ram size area? remember how L2 cache sizes on intel chipsets determined how ram could be cached and if your L2 cache size AND TAG RAM dident cut it YOU WOULD GET A 20% PERFORMANCE HIT? its funny how you dont hear about it anymore!

Thumbs up if you ever had those "LA lights" shoes as a kid!

what do those leds even do? just make the ram warmer and take more power?
rambow70 1 year ago
@rambow70 Yeah, because LEDs create so much heat... *facepalm*.. and draw so much power. *double facepalm*
Perhaps learn how an LED works before you talk such shit.

@UnrealGlider Our global warming is caused by LEDS! OMG lets destroy them. :P

i have already overclocked my cpu (2400> 2700) can i decrease timings of my ddr?
or i must do it on non-overclocked system?

main system ? :O

i think its such a clever idea to have that on RAM modules because it adds so much more to the look.
uberjelly 4 years ago
can you get to 2-2-2-5 timings on that ram ?
golem72002 4 years ago
actullay, i think the timings are 4.4.4.12 standard
