@metalsonic71 its not expensive the console with the controller is $100 bucks(probably with shipping and handling too) i think its worth it compared to xbox 360 and ps3. it also has your games from pc or mac synced up to it so you can play them when your computers being fixed. i dont see ps3 or xbox doing that. only bad thing? games get deleted from onlive eventually.

onlive is cool and works even on my netbook, impressive but you cant sell and trade used game and that stinks.also the publishers or website can remove titles whenever thats a big drawback to me. why should I get stuck with a game that isn't my cup of tea with no way to recover some money from it? It won't work without internet also sucks. I was impressed with what I saw but I dont like the idea of not having a physical game for my money.

Definitely an interesting concept, but I was browsing their selection of games and it does seem limited at this point in time. Most of those developers I don't usually bother picking up their games (THQ for instance). It'd be cool if they'd include classics more along the lines of what GoG.com offers and of course without that DRM crap. And then try to include console games that are not offered to PC customers currently. I think it'd help bring a much broader audience and enhance the community.

I got some games from the humble bundle for onlive and I think the service is an interesting idea. With the console you can play on the tv, then pick up the same game on your laptop (and plug in the 360 controller to play).

That controller design seems pretty nice.

The one benefit this would have is that they could up the graphics way high on their servers and you don't have to worry about which video card is in your machine or what console you are on cause all the work is done there.

In theory, as Classic Game Room Guy said in another review, any game console's content could be fed through their servers; that could include exclusives if they were somehow able to haggle a deal with each console's respective producers (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Sega, etc.)

cloud gaming? i'll pass. at least with downloads you can keep playing when servers get shut down 'untill your hard drive eventually fucks up your game, then torrent at your own risk of getting sued'. physical copies are always the best way to go. no being dependent on any sort of service or servers that could get shut down 5-10 years from now.

Since this is a new game console, there won't be nearly as many people as you would find on playstation network or xbox live, which is the main reason im going to wait for the community to grow before i purchase it

@KingDavid73 That is just silly. U r used to the Xbox controller is all. I have put 1000s of hrs on my trusty DS3 and not one time did my hands feel cramped or uncomfortable. If anything the Xbox controller is more uncomfortable because of its weight and size. I also think the buttons on the Xbox controller are terrible. I do like the triggers and the sticks with the concave center though!
