@vnakaluz edible flowers are made with wires in them the same way lollipops are made with sticks in them. something has to hold them up.

never seen flowers/arrangement like that before, just beautiful. love that it doesn't look like ordinary traditional cakes. nice job.

thank you! it was pretty good - Mom told me after that pple were bumping into each other in the middle of the night on the way to the fridge :o)

yeah, once I got the flowers arranged on there the bows just really seemed like too much. glad you enjoyed :o)

I actually added some seedless jam and fresh mascerated strawberries. I made sure to keep the buttercream a little stiff so the addition of the jam wouldn't thin it out too much to pipe.
