Apparently your the dumb one here, asking if its supposed to be western pleasure. The answer is very obvious, but then again i wouldn't know, because im the loser in this situation.
if all western riding horses went the speed of most of the pleasure horses they would have a rather hard time doing the lead changes. and this is a good speed for western riding, it could be slower but its better to have a good changer.

Its a western riding/horsemanship class people sheesh, western pleasure doesn't have patterns, wp is a rail class.
