  • That bailout was Bush and Co.'s last chance cash grab. I assumed that is what it was at the time, and what do you know, just like the billions sent to Iraq they don't know where alot of it went.

  • WOW! Sterns lawyer has this much time on his hands. To write a book about " Nothing" on You Tube? Tho dost protest too much, Sir. And it was Bush and his Wall Street pawn that proposed the first HUGE bailout. And they're not sure where that money went...huh, imagine that! I think I know exactly where alot of it went.

  • Much Ado About Nothing

A recent Orlando Sentinel editorial erroneously stated that Congressman Cliff Stearns asked Speaker of the House Pelosi to shut down Congress so that members of the Florida and Oklahoma delegations could attend the BCS championship on January 8. This is categorically false.

Although he's an avid Gators fan, at no point did Stearns request, nor would ever request, that Congress delay its business or shut down for a football game.

  • In a personal letter to the Speaker, Stearns requested that she look into the possibility of rescheduling a few votes that were planned for Friday, January 9, to anytime on Wednesday, January 7, or the morning of Thursday, January 8. As it turned out, the House completed its business at 12:30 PM on Wednesday and did not have any votes on Thursday, the day of the national championship game.

  • In effect, the speaker suspended all votes for 48 hours, which allowed Members who wished to attend this event the opportunity to do so. Obviously, due to the extremely light work week scheduled by the Speaker, Stearn's request would not have prevented the House from completing any of its scheduled work for that week. This incident proved to be much ado about nothing.

  • Many Members, including Senator Nelson, Rep. Corrine Brown, Stearns, and others, were able to attend the game and Speaker Pelosi made it possible without any letter from him.

As for the game--the spirited competition, the practice of discipline, and the success of hard work--was an inspiration for all. It should be an inspiration for Members of Congress as well, especially when they are proposing bailout after bailout and huge deficits with no accountability.

  • The third segment proves that Keith Olbermann is a partisan hack and that Speaker Pelosi is a hypocrite.

He did request that no votes be scheduled on the night of January 8th because of the BCS championship game. Guess what? There were no votes that night; there were no votes that entire day. In fact, Speaker Pelosi held no votes for a 48-hour period, from 12:30 on Wednesday January 7th until 12:30 on Friday January 9th.

  • BRONZE:Oh Bill-o, you've been torturing people for years with your stupid views.

SILVER:Hey, Brian, care to share something with us? My gay friends want to know your thoughts.

GOLD:So football is a national priority? No wonder the GOP is going down the drain.

  • When Keith doesn't include bill for a day or two, my world seems a little off balance. We all think Billy is adorable...all these fine people like Billo too, we just want to see him more often and Keith provides that. Thanks Keith.

  • O shit, it's January 2008! 2007 seems like so long ago now...

  • Jan 7th, 2009 not 2008

  • Me thinks tongue & cheek just might be lost on you.

  • me thinks I love tongue and cheek. I also love it when he actually shows horrible people doing horrible things. Those are when he points out how walmart screwed over that lady who got hurt there and sued to take away her settlement. Or others like that. But he has become blinded by his vendetta vs fox. So instead of actually pointing out the "worst person in the world" it is about the vendetta. How about harry reid refusing the senator from ILL? horrible. But they are dems so they get a pass

  • me thinks adorabilly1 thinks billo is adorable. maybe she would like to have dirty phone conversations about sticking falafel places.

  • And there is Jews calling for the death of all muslims. Don't nitpick your battles.

  • By all means... find me a video of this happening and put it on. I won't quibble about it then. Not one single breath against it.

but the video of her calling for the jews to "go back to the ovens" should at the very least get her in the top three... don'tcha think? Esp when he chooses bill o'reilly just cuz well just cuz.

If you are going to say "I have a platform to call out the injustices" then call out the injustices. Like how the Ill senator is being denied, or this woman is being bad

  • College Football: Serious Business.

  • i knew kilmeade would be in there sooner or later.
