After dealing w/ the FBI, my family has dealt w/ them since 2001, I wouldn't trust anybody to the FBI. I'd trust local police first.

This segment occurred before the FBI unified. Each state's federal bureau had its own captain back then. They didn't always communicate w/ each other either, but that's been different since September 12, 2001.

They always wait until something really terrible happens before making changes.

My friend's husband works on the SWAT team.

He's one of the nicest guys I know, so I couldn't picture him doing the work. He CAN, I just have a hard time picturing him in the role of police officer arresting suspects.

During hostage situations, he's the hostage negotiator.

I've heard of it, but that's not an example of one. It's a plain old hostage situation, and he's a damn nitwit.

My friend is a police officer, and he doesn't recommend making a citizen arrest these days unless you have training in Security or Police work.

The post office doesn't prosecute mail fraud ... it only investigates allegations of it. The FBI would make the arrest.
