Prefer Vascular (Blood) Constraint (choke) with enough pressure on the windpipe to prevent choking noises. i am planning to video tape more removal techniques in the future.
I cant help but offer some constructive criticism, delete it if you want.
Most of this was good but the problem I had was with noise. On this kind of terrain you should constrict your movements to when the sentry shuffles around so as to mask your passage through the leafs and rather than move all the way up behind him you should spring forward from say 2 steps away, that way you'd still catch him by surprise but avoid lingering in the so-called "personal space" that people are sensitive too.
it itsnt called a supressor for nothing, they are not completly silent, they just supress a part of it. Search a few suppresor videos on youtube and youll notice that they arent that silent. I do think this is a good video although i would prefer to see a stab in the kidney to stun and then cut his throat or something. I dont know where i red that but that technique and the "stab in the base of skull technique" are the most silent.
While some thing or ok, I can see where your going with it. I can say your a little off path. 1 if any of the guys I train act like your "sentry" I would give them the boot. 2 you need to take into account of being on the same level as the guys head. (weird but true) 3 We have tools (aka weapons) for a reason, they make this type of work easier. 4 This is the worst place on earth to try to sneak up on someone, should've thought about it a little more
Apparantly there is not enough space to post the finer points of the rear naked so lets just say. It is what it is and military back ground has no relevance on how to score a rear naked. 90% of fights end up on the ground so why not take the bad guy there on my terms under my control. Bad guy has less mobility on the ground. and makes just as much noise as scuffling around while the bad guy fights before passing out standing. for the record USAF 84-88.
The rear naked choke you've attempted can be accomplished standing up, why did you think it would be a good idea to go to the ground with the possibility of the sentry struggling/making more noise in the process? I'm curious what was your military background?
To dispel any more negative comments on this video (which have been deleted due to unprofessional content). This is a training video and I know there are faults in the production (meaning its not real) BUT! This is not a video on sound or camo, it is on technique. We dont get paid for the efforts only the results. Lets pretend this guy is on sand, it is night time, his back is to a wooded area, he is watching a field or road in front of him, and oh yea hes drunk. Hope this helps.
He wuld have heard him. Coming from a ju jitsu guy a rear naked choke is my go to but I wouldnt expect to get that close without a distraction

Id rather take him out from cover with a supressed weapon, wich you would probably have on your person if you were expecting to be removing sentries

Not convinced. You can hear the stalkers footsteps. In my world, you would not make it. Sorry
