I had never heard of Anthony Warlow until about two weeks ago. I happened to stumble on a video of him singing This is the Moment and I immediately became a huge fan! He needs to come over to the U.S. and grace us with his talent and wit. I don't think very many people know about him on this side of the pond and we have been missing out for far too long! What a gift.
I've seen John Farnham in concert 4 years ago when I was 12 but I've still yet to see Anthony Warlow...I'd love to see him in the Phantom but he wasnt there the night I went to go see it :(
He may have been called Johnny Farnham in the 60's and 70's, but his name is actually JOHN Farnham. Both he and Anthony are highly respected in the Australian music and theatre field but they cannot be compared.
Yes true they are both very respected in the music industry. i myself love listening to them. But to those who grew up knowing him during this time or who even know his personality, will call him Johnny. Its the way Aussies work.

For me, I'm not concerned about who's better than who. Seeing Ant and John having such a blast together is a real treat. They play off one another so well. XD

I disagree! He doesn't overact in anything - that's just him having fun on stage. He's born a performer & his continual sold out shows (not to mention the records as well!!!!!!!) is testimate to this! Well done to both of them. The 2 most talented Australian performers on the one stage - brilliant.

I took a digital camera to get photos but they turned out shocking, and during the impersonations section i was just sitting there on the grass right by the stage, staring up in awe. At one moment, he pointed right at me and the girl next to me becuase we cheered in response to something he said - it was frigin awesome!
You're welcome! You should have seen him live at the vineyards in Feb; he did impersonations of Michael Crawford's Phantom spot-on! and Marlon Brando and Johnny Farnham and Cary Grant and Jerry Lewis of course - it was brilliant!!!
Anthony's a phenomenal performer indeed - he can sing everything from rock, jazz, opera, musicals etc. And his impression of Frank Spencer (from the British TV series 'Some Mother's Do 'Ave 'Em played by another of my favourite performers, Michael Crawford) is HILARIOUS! This was a great clip! Thank you for posting it!
