Funding for the PEF comes from generous donations from members of the Church and other organizations. It is a revolving resource from which money is loaned to an individual to help pay for education or training that leads to a viable, local job. Participants then pay back the loan at a low interest rate.
When he established the PEF in 2001, President Hinckley emphasized the need to help others learn and progress. At a Church conference President Hinckley said: We need to care for one another more diligently. We need to make a little more effort to assist those who are down at the bottom of the ladder. We need to give encouragement and a lifting hand to men and women of faith and integrity and ability, who can climb that ladder with a little help.
"The greatest thing we could do today was to partake of the sacrament,'' Scalley said. "It was far more important than anything we'll do as a football team this week.''
Scalley and two Ute defensive starters, Mike Wright and Christian Cox, spoke of the remembering Jesus Christ this Christmas season and throughout the year during a fireside at the Pomerado Ward Building in the Poway Stake Dec. 20.
POWAY, Calif. -- Although his team was spending several days in southern California for its bowl game against the University of California, Utah assistant football coach Morgan Scalley said the most important part of the trip for several team members had already taken place that morning.
The temple is the place you find peace.....Hmmm. Glad I don't have to go there for peace. My God doesn't want to live in a temple made of man's hands. My God says that he wants to live inside man when they accept Him. So I don't have to go to a temple for peace because He is peace and He lives inside me. This is the reason the temple vail was RENT. So you could have direct access to God with no more temple stuff. Saviors on Zion....One Savior! Jesus Christ! Zion..JERUSALEM..God's chosen city.
Not even. Because if you read the whole book, Paul was a Jew but when he turned to Christ Jesus after he would go to the temple to preach the Gospel that the Jews rejected. Not because he felt God dwelled there. Paul had the Holy Spirit living inside of him like all Born Again Believers do. Also, remember that all were allowed to enter those temples for worship. You didn't need a recommend. They didn't wear all white, and didn't have secret handshakes. LDS temples are nothing like Jewish temples
oh i love going there!!!

in Acts 21 the wicked call out against Paul and others demanding that they not go into the Temple.
I hope you are NOT like those wicked people...
