@JontieDesario he could of been the awesome, unfortunately he came across tyres in '06 that didn't do him justice. You saw in F1 in the yrs b4 he was potentially great. Not sure why he hasn't bossed NASCAR, should of done that by now!
@DivadYrrab3019 Yeah sure, they're the easiest tracks to race at, until things go wrong. Then they quickly become the hardest, to recover from loss of control of the car for whatever reason at those speeds, and to overcome the fear from something like that happening, in both THAT race if they manage to save it, and all future races at super speedways.
@DivadYrrab3019 The only reason stock cars barely get up to 200 at the super speedways is because of restrictor plates, without them, they've been proven to run at 220 mph around Talladega. NASCAR races road courses too, just thought you should know that. Oh yeah and by the way, isn't NASCAR pretty much the only racing where drivers actually shift anymore anyway? You know, with a clutch instead of two paddles and a computer?
@SirKowalski666 a sequential gearbox is not a bad thing for racing, neither are twin-clutch paddle shifters, as it allows the drivers to focus on the road because these technologies allow the cars to go accelerate through their gears much quicker. also many sequential gearboxes still have clutch pedals.
@DivadYrrab3019 So are you saying it doesn't take talent to race at a place like Daytona or Talladega? I'd love to see you try and handle a stock car at those speeds and NOT shit your pants.
The best thing about ESPN now is Alan Bestwick calling the shots. Everyone else SUCKS, even Rusty Wallace. Rusty's an awesome racecar driver- same with DJ- but they both suck at commentating a race. ESPN has been an epic fail ever since they started broadcasting races again in 2007.
the joke of nascar coverage covers the chase...bad for nascar, they should move espn to the summer series and let tnt cover the chase....after all tnt knows drama
@DBaxley8109 Very true that TNT's better than ESPN, but I think FOX should cover the chase. Do the Daytona 500, then have them wait 'til the Brickyard 400 to broadcast again, and go the whole way through the chase with FOX.
@wimpman94 yea man.... i always get bummed sometime in early june when d.w says "Boogity, boogity, boogity, see you next February boys" im like " oh crap", here comes tnt and then espn and then abc... mike joy, Darrel waltrip and Larry mac are the perfect combination
Get rid of Jamie Little and Vince Welch on pit row. Put Mike Massaro, Dave Burns, Dr. Jerry Punch, and maybe get Bill Weber back as pit reporter, if not him, then put Shannon Spake on pit row.
NASCAR on FOX should cover every single race in the Sprint Cup season, and maybe TNT if anyone likes them or if there ok. ESPN are the laughing stock of NASCAR coverage, they SUCK!!
There must be an affirmative action program for retards in reporting and news in general because I can't watch one sporting event or a news broadcast without their elementary school observations. No offense to anyone born with a disability, btw. These guys obviously choose their path.
@MarciareOMarcire your the test tube person....lol!!!! Montoya stay where you are... F1 dosnt miss or need you.........If you think F1 is boring stop watching it ......simple....like you......
That's was pretty funny, I think he has a chance to win the championship this year, if he keeps finishing in the top 5, but I know he wants that first win so bad, if he doesn't get it in the next 2 or 3 races he's going to start driving like a madman which is completely fine with me, it gonna get interesting. You're the man Juan Pablo.
Try driving around a proper circuit with right hand bends! I'll never understand this sport, not really motor racing if ask me. Juan should still be in F1!
There is no such thing as a "proper circuit". Nascar is hard, hell any motorsport is hard. I prefer Nascar not because i think its harder to drive in than F1, no i watch it beause i like RACING and Nascar has a LOT of racing every lap all the time. F1 requires more skill in my opinion but i cannot get into it because the cars are so spread out and there are less passes, but thats just me. Have an open mind about it. You should be happy he still drives in a real sport, a motorsport!! :D

They race on tracks that have right hand turns too dickhead. It's called a road course. Stick to commenting and watching videos of that follow-the-leader bullshit you call F1 "racing". It's not racing if it's follow the leader.
Follow the leader Bullshit? Did you watch the Brazillian GP? I was simply offering my opinion, i've tried to watch nascar numerous times and just never found it interesting. Also you should try get your point across without swearing on websites that are open to anyone.
Man i will take Espn's truly horrible coverage any day over Fox's DW and Larry Mac hitting there knees for Dale Jr everytime he passes for 30th. TNT's coverage which used to be the worst is now the only bearable coverage to watch... and even then Wally is a moron and hard to listen to.
Weber only announced 1 race this year and wally was still a moron. But i agree... weber was awful... But i think Jerry Punch is probably the worst lead announcer that there is... Jerry is very good in the pits but the lead role just isn't his thing
I agree, ESPN coverage of Nascar is very hard to watch. I put it right there with Fox though. I can't really stand to listen to any of the announcers on either station. Speed Channel does the best as far as commentating and their video coverage of the entire field and pits is excellent.
I wandered if many people caught this tidbit from Montoya, he snuck it in there but I think he made his point. I'm sure the guy with the mic felt like an idiot.
I'm no JPM fan (bad memories from F1), but he was 100 percent right here. Kahne was probably yelling because they're in f...ing pit lane right after the race, and that idiot thinks Kahne's giving him shit. JPM rightly called him on it. Also, stand up job by Kasey. Completely proved Montoya's point.
@gadgefan48 Either ESPN or TNT. I love NASCAR on FOX but Kyle Petty ruins TNT coverage for me ("good God!") and ESPN is just tard sometimes. ESPN has an excuse to be dumb though, they are trying to market NASCAR to a very broad audience of general sports fans so they have to dumb down their coverage.
