This is without a doubt, hands down THE WORST CONTROLLER I'VE EVER USED ON ANY CONSOLE. Period. Wanna experience digital blue-balls? Buy this remote (don't buy it online for $11, buy it at GameStop for $24.99 plus tax for extra frustration), then play GoldenEye 007 with it. Good luck NOT banging your head forcibly into a wall as your cursor jumps erratically all over the screen right before losing connection. This is a standard feature on Nyko's controller, and you'll likely find it unusable.

GET THE ACTUAL NINTENDO BRAND WIIMOTE. All third party controllers suck! Except for the perfect shot.

i think its because its not reliable, some nyko wands arnt com[atible with wii motion plus

cuse its unreliable. they're not made exactly the same. in other words, one wii wand can worlk for the rest of your life, while another stops working after you play a game PLAY NOT BEAT

To sync the Wand press Sync on the inside of the battery thing, then press Sync button on Wii console. It works.

does it work the same as the oem wii remote? or just not works as it should?? please be specific with in how it feels when you are playing with the nike control.

@cachorrinapestosin, it feels around 90% the same. The speakers make a slightly more 'metallic' sound, I guess, and the D pad is a little stiffer, and it craps out after about 7- 10 feet, but it feels pretty good and works the same, with no lag. The one thing I don't like is how the blue skin thing can peel at the edges around the +/- buttons, and it looks sloppy. Hope this helps.

i think the wii wand and kama are infringing some kind of copyright, i mean, sure third parties should be able to make controllers, but dont change the button shape and change the name! its a wii remote not a wii wand!

the shape and name are part of the copyright buddy. nintendo sued nyko about their initial wireless nunchuck design because of the similarities with nintendo's oem nunchuck.

because your sources are not good. if you look at the connector then u will see that the real wiimote is different.

The currently shipped out Nyko Wands are not compatible with Motion+, but you can send them to Nyko for a free firmware update that will allow compatibility.

The newer models of the Wand will work with Motion+.

It's a bit confusing but Nyko is coming out with a gun accessory which will work exclusively with the Wand, not the Wiimote.

Nyko CES 2009 shows this new gun and how it digitally transfers button commands...looks pretty cool.

yes, transport is the only reason why im gonna buy the wand. They are coming out with attachments that use transport tech. like a gun, keyboard and hopefully more to come

no the gun hes talking about is for the wand that digitally transports the buttons unlike the perfect shot that uses some mechanism to manually presses the buttons

the perfect shot is for the wiimote the new gun resembles the perfect shot but because of the transport tech built in to the wand the new gun remaps the buttons on controller witch means that when you press the trigger you are hitting the b button even thought you are not phsyically ouching the b button

Good video on the nyko wii wand. I have to disagree about the video and sound quality, it's not poor it's actually very good. The wii keyboard is pretty cool also.
