The ambulance needs to yield. There was a horrible crash in our county when an ambulance did not yield at a stop sign out in the country and both patient, plus 3 of the 4 paramedics died. The situation got out of control, but ambulances need to be aware as well.

When the paramedic said it would be best to pursue this matter after the patient was brought to the hospital, that makes perfect sense. As it would to ANYONE. Why couldn't the cop agree to that? Apparently what is not said here is that the cop's wife was in the patrol car too. I hope she is proud of him. I would love to follow this story. I ran too many times into these kind of cops. insecure bastard. somebody must have hit him way too many times when he was little. by the way he still acts little. I'd bet he thinks hes getting back at the bad guys.

they werent on their way to much of an emergency, giving a ticket to a paramedic on the way to take a patient to the hospital? is that how oklahoma police protect and serve? its not a white or black thing. its a lil dick cop with a gun and badge. This is absolutely unbelievable. The officer was beligerant. The paramedics behaved in a professional manner in the face of this obvious abuse of power. How would the officer react if his loved one was in the ambulance and needed emergency treatment? A police escort maybe?

Obviously, the cop didn't have such a big emergency if he had the time to stop an ambulance with a patient. The cop was on a power trip and is exactly the kind of person who becomes a cop who shouldn't be a cop. Fire him! Who even cares if the ambulance driver flicked him off. hahaha so what. Whaoh, what a discourtesy. If the ambulance even honked the horn, how is that stopping the cop form doing his job. Talk about having too much time on your hands.

Working with many police officers, I know many of the little tricks they imploy. Check out how the audio cuts out when he starts swearing up a storm. Hopefully this one loses his job. Even IF someone flipped himt he bird or whatever else he lost his cool which is not allowed. This is another prime example of a bad cop gone wild. Not all cops are bad cops, but the ones all seem to me to be just like this one. I'm the law, even if I'm wrong, I'm right.
