I love this song. It is like beauty given sound.When I first got it I listened to it for five times again and again. It was just so pure. Especially the violin part at the end. I love Versailles. They are gloriously dramatic! I am sad that their friend died. This song is a great honor to her memory.

In my opinion American artits have more money so they are better promoted even if their music isn't great. Where as Versailles a great band with amazing music don't have the resources. I know Real music when I hear it, Versailles is just that..Real music Real Artists.

Anyways I became a fan of Versailles at the most tragic time in my life. I've never had to deal with death before and in my grieving I came across this song. I can not discribe the emotions inside of me...I'm speechless.

@RoosJackman The deceased band member is not in this pv. Serenade was their 1st pv without him (Jasmine You was his stagename) & the song was dedicated to his memory. He died of an unspecified illness... tragic; he was only in his 30s. This pv was my introduction to Versailles... btw they've released another one recently with their new bassist.

This song seems like it's actually dedicated to Jasmine You, judging from the lyrics. My Japanese is not perfect, but in the last chorus it's: "Thank you, you can keep on sleeping. Because I'll walk on alone."

The lyrics are speaking about a person who is gone, and that he wants to see him again, and remembering on the time they spent together. And that they will meet again someday.

In the next issue of SHOXX magazine (on Jan 21st 2010) there is an interview with Kamijo about Jasmine You.
