  • virgin colours were never applied to 826 it kept its ic colours to the end of service with virgin. Olso it was never fitted with RCH cables for TDM but some of the ex parcels 47s hired from EWS were fitted, though knowing EWS it was probably isolated.

  • I guess this must have been one of the last to wear the last Intercity livery.

  • It was painted up specially as one of those for the special liveries before the Locomatives were withdrawn, a commemorative livery, it used to be Virgin livery.

  • wow

  • great video

  • shouldnt the 47 be on the back?

  • Hows that going to work?.

  • DVT controls it from front

  • Not here it cant.

Back then the DVT could only work in push-pull with Class 86/87/90. When ever a DVT set was going off the wires, like here or on the diversion routes, it had to be hauled.

  • okay

  • miss the old intercity livery it was better then the ones now

  • 5/5- nice clag! I've had 47826 on a charter before, and it worked & clagged really hard! IMO it's a shame that it's livery has been changed, as I really liked the IC one.
