It's funny you mention that, because when Capcom was looking to promote Resident Evil 2 back in 1998, George A. Romero was chosen to direct 2 live-action commercials that advertised the game (which are here on YT). And the 2 commercials gained so much success, that Romero was approached to direct the live action Resident Evil film, which at first he didnt want to do, but in the end wrote a good script that was sadly rejected for Paul Anderson's version...

Shame... isn't it?

Just type in imsdb(.)com (Don't include the parentheses), and search up George Romero - Resident Evil Script on it's search engine, and you will find it there.

Shame really, I read the script and it is WAY better than Paul Anderson's shitty fan-fiction adaptation of Resident Evil.
