more people would give them crap for it then what they get today. We can only just support them and know they are trying to bring back the sound they used to have even though their stage performance isn't the same. They even stated they know what the fans like and they tried to incorporate that sound again into Cardiology, heck they even redid the whole album just for us. They are just growing up as well as their fans are. All true Good Charlotte fans know this and will always listen to them.

It's hard to believe that they will never be able to produce music like they did before but we have to understand they aren't high school kids rebelling any more. They are in their 30's, Joel is a Father and said that he wants to focus being a good dad. The punk age as far as mainstream goes is pretty much dead, but all the fans who lived it know it will never die as long as we are still around. If you saw a bunch of guys in their 30's dressed up how they were in their first and second album

compared to what they make now, i hardly find words how sad i am about, that they've changed so much in the mainstream-scene. until "the chronicles of life and death" they were amazing... "good morning revival" is acceptable.. but this "like its her birthday stuff" where they've just been so much influenced from paris hilton and nicole richi... no, its nothing but sad. they are still impressionable personalities, no doubt, but i'm sad, their old style will never come back.

i feel that way too. but you know, they've given us so much throughout the years, i think maybe its our turn to let them be whoever they want to be and let them do whatever they want to do. If we stick with them through these "like its her birthday" times, and support them throughout all the people they date, then maybe we can be thanking them for everything. Just let them do whatever they want, they diserve it. i miss them so much, dont get me wrong. :(
