LUCKY! I think the reason they quit so early is because America didn't and doesn't want subtle humor. Mission Hill made you stop and think about some things. They don't make a lot of good animated series like this anymore.

Because it really only was targeting a specific age/gender/social group and most people didn't really relate to it. Family Guy specializes in slapstick/bathroom humor which anyone can enjoy.

Don't get me wrong though. I actually love both shows. They're very different, but I like the contrast

I would love to see more of it on television and in theatres, but its appeal is usually limited to a certain demographic, so those shows and films typically fail on arrival, only to gain cult status later on when released on dvd. Much like Mission Hill, actually.

I'll always lament over the five episodes that never came to fruition. This series had so much potential. The thirteen episodes we do have are wonderful, regardless.
