  • Not that your points are not valid and make sense but odiously Dan disagrees because you entire video was saying he was wrong?

  • So, I'm thinking this isn't to the Dan Brown who wrote "Angels & Demons" lol

  • You don't need to be in a university before you can find out what a force is.

  • You're certainly right, you don't need to be in a university to know what a force is. In fact I hope you know what a force is before you reach university.

However, analyzation of forces can become complex, and that's what I refer to.

  • Good vid.

  • Thanks for the kind words.

  • 5 stars. Same argument that I would have made (just different examples). I "know" people on the internet, but I don't know them really. My friends in college I know in real life and that can't be duplicated online. A good bit of my education came from working with fellow students trying to solve a problem, whether that meant creating an economic development plan for a rural township or working as an intern interacting with other people. You simply cannot duplicate that online.

  • Excellent response

  • Go into your first class. You get asked to design a bridge. Don't know how? Google it. Look it up on Wikipedia. Dan Brown's point was not that knowledge is no longer required, but it is simply more freely available.

  • I specifically chose how to build a bridge, because you can not simply google "How to build a bridge" and get an answer. Tools online can help you, but you'd be lost in a sea of information, much of it extraneous in a situation like this.

  • @Matthordika Would you drive on a bridge over a river if that bridge was engineered by someone who googled it or would you prefer a bridge designed by an engineer. Knowledge without wisdom is useless , the internet is full of miss information , Wikipedia is consensual agreement of the masses ,get enough people to agree on something in wikipedia and it becomes fact on wikipedia, the masses once thought the world was flat

  • @Matthordika Your first class would never ask you to build bridge unless:

    A) This is a graduate level program which assumes a knowledge base capable of this.

    B) The instructor was making a point.

    C) The instructor wanted to see how much you knew coming into the class.

    D) It's 4th grade, you are using clay and who really cares what your bridge looks like.

  • I agree with you a lot.

  • Basicly.
