h2v sucks balls but the gameplay atleast is fine. one of the many things that suck ass about h2v is the fact that there might be games I really want to join from the game browser, but when i try to join it says. "unable to join game. please try again later" WTF it does that with every good game i want to join. but not for the crap games
Honestly, I love the LIVE for this game, it never gets boring. Unfortunately, I KEEP GETTING SERVER ERRORS!!! It will sign me into LIVE but the Halo 2 LIVE game stats keep showing "Not Available". Then when I do play LIVE it will only last like 15 minutes, then it will sign out again!!! No problems with signing into LIVE, but Halo 2 servers suck ass. I can't wait until I get an Xbox 360 and Halo 3....
@nothingBUTdarkness I think the problem is because halo 2 is a xbox 1 game and its kinda not supported on xbox live anymore. They just shut it down not that long ago, kinda like their turned off half of their servers that run the game. I would wait for halo reach to come out. The halo reach beta is much better then halo 3 is all together.. prepare to drop fall 2010

Actually my pc surpasses the recommended settings for halo 2 pc. Maybe the new updates to halo2/games for windows has fixed some of the problems with the terrible game.
lmao i have it and i got gold for like 7 months, until we needed a new credit card, so we got a new one, disabled the old one i was using for the gold acc, so it turned silver, and all the things like custom create game n stuff are says there locked but it still lets me play them when i click on it lmao! so pretty much its a free gold account. xD
This is actually Free you dont need have Xbox Live Gold, just create an a account and its really fun online, is like halo custom edition but with graphics, but the bad thing is you need have Windows Vista to play it. ;( maybe someone is doing a crack or patch to play it multiplayer on XP i hope

Halo is a good game, but the Halo 2's vista port sucks. So I just started on my current single player level. Then everything started skipping. Then the entire system locks up (I couldn't enable/disable cap locks) it was just stuck in a black screen. Tried Ctrl+Alt+delete didn't do anything. So I hard rebooted the computer. Now the game won't play. Also half the times I go on to the game. It can't log in. Then I am stuck in a screen saying "Logging in" I can't play anything.
LOL, you suck so badly! It's amazing that you find the little things wrong with an otherwise perfect game. The Halo games are great. Not every game is going to be perfect. Of course it will have its flaws. But, since you wnat to be a complete n00b about it, fine. Don't play it. No one is forcing you. Just quit, like you always do.

Halo is a good game, but the Halo 2's vista port sucks. So I just started on my current single player level. Then everything started skipping.
