I love this couple, but Jared and Melanie are better. In my opinion. They would never be separated, COULD never separated. And he had changed so much when Melanie never came home... You could feel his pain. It reminded me of Edward in New Moon. Except Jared dealt with it differently because he wasn't as selfish as to take his own life. He had made a promise to Melanie that he would always take care of Jamie, so instead he became a little moody and depressed. I suppose you could call it confused.
