excuse me sr. are those pads' texture kind of the same as the acoustic ones? Because the roland td 4 has like a different kind of snare texture.. Are those pads solid? thank you very much.
i love the kit the only think im not sure about's the high hat stand, whats it like to use ? dose it feel the same as using a normal high hat stand or should i get the td12kx and pay the extra.
the one think i really like on the td9's the rhythm check i don't think the td 12kx got that fetcher.
@jellyboy123 i would like the hi hat to be better, something like the right cymbal, but the sound of the kit is amazing, anyways its enough, the hi hat pedal is perfect, i suggest you to buy td9
you don´t have to buy a td 12kx. it´s costs too much (i think so) and you can get a td 9 with hi hat stand. the td 9sx
it´s costs a little more than the 9kx. you can also buy a td 9kx and then the extra hi hat it´s bout 70 € and you can use every hi hat stand you want :D
@Marc716 I like it really, different to the acoustic one obviously but this one is really good when you handle it, the stock configuration of the sensitivity is pretty good, you can have it closed, a little bit opened, a little bit more, and fully opened, it also makes the sound when you actually step on it with the backward of your feet, just like if you were hitting it
Nice playing. I'm thinking of buying this kit :) I wanna know one thing though.. I know that you can record yourself with the module and stuff but I wonder just for HOW long you can record yourself? and can you save it? thanks ;)
Actually it has 2 extra triggers in, on the ride side of the module, one of them is for a "Crash2" and the other is an "Aux". I think you can add one more tom by the aux way
Yeah the TD-9 module make the sound but it depends on the Pad model, so check the difference between sound properties in the pad models of the TD-9K and the TD-9KX and then you will see the changes in the sound performance, you can check it at Roland´s official website, search for V-Drums, but my personal opinion, go for a TD-9KX
No i don´t think so, if i were you, ill go for a TD-9kx, the snare sound should be really better, also you have this awesome 3-sounds ride cymbal, and dual trigger pads on all the toms
the snare sound is excellent, is really similar to an acoustic snare, it has ring shot, stick sound, and every sound depends on the snare area you hit
It could be better. !

Love your drumming and grooves, but the beat was really almost the same during the first half of the video, but awesome!
iCanHazSkillz 1 year ago
I would accent the snare different.
your snare playing sounds nearly everytime the same. Too loud for me.
Even so, nice grooves. Keep it up.

Hi, i'm going to buy this kit soon, i have a question for you: i want to record my drum parts and mix them with other instruments.
It's possible to export the recs made on drums to the pc with usb? What kind of format are them? Wav, Mp3 or something special?
Thank you very much :)
gigadunk23 2 years ago
Good groove, but that's bizarre how you've positioned your snare. Is it simply to make it closer to the hi-hat for this track?
Spillage66 2 years ago
well i like to play with the snare and the hi-hat really close each other hehe

But the Important thing is the Drum Computer or not? That makes the sound or play the pads an important role too?
