Deaf people may never learn fluent English because how do most people learn to speak hearing your parents and others speak but if you don't hear that it's hard to learn a spoken language.

Definition; not emitting or having sound of any kind/a person incapable of speech.. I can make sounds and can talk/speech, FYI.

I clearly said I am deaf in previous comment and secondly, you have to be able to HEAR to know how to talk well. I don't speak but do have voice, can talk a few words here and there.

So therefore it's not called mute, mute peeps the ones who lost their voicebox due to accidents, etc.

Here's one thing I've never understood about people who are deaf. I don't understand how, when your deaf, you can't talk. I mean, shouldn't you have remembered words by heart? Unless of course you're born with it.

A lot of people are born deaf. Also, if you become completely deaf later in life, you can no longer hear yourself talk so... you may think you're saying the right thing, but you might not be. There's a lot of synergy with vocalization and your own ears.

omg my husband and I have had those!! I will NEVER forget the dirt one...UGH. I think we lucked out with the boxes we had because I don't remember having earthworm, earwax, or booger.
