When you want to feel happy listen to this version. A cover is the artist's interpretation of a song he/she heard. She wanted to make it happy, so she did.

I love the xx and I think Shakira did a wonderful rendition of what she thought when she heard the song. I love the original and this version Shakira has made. It adds a whole new dynamic when she successful made a slow mellow song into an up-paced, feel good song. Beautifully done.

Her performance reminds me of when I went to a Pagan Festival for the first time and the women where all dancing the same way she danced in the middle of a huge bonfire. I had to do a report of what I saw to my class so I showed them how they all danced. Everyone laughed except the teacher who was a Pagan and annointed as a "Sorcerer" by her community. Shakira is lucky she's pretty because if she wasn't, she would be the butt of jokes
