Of course the scientists lied......most scientists do their entire carees. They get paid to tell the public that their theories are FACT and that they are not doubtable....while the fact is they are only Theories.
The emails are really alarming and I do hope that climate change is not real. By nature I am not a accepting person, always questioning and doubting (yes I am a right pain). But after a lot of my own research I do now believe in man made Climate Change (CC). I wish I could say its BS
One sallow does not make a summer and one set of emails does not mean CC is not real. If something you believed meant that man made CC was not real was found to be false, would you start believing in CC right away?
I think the emails are real, that they show that the scientist at the uni have frankly lied, stopped the publication of reports they dont like and acted criminally.
I would read recommend reading "Pretending the climate email leak isn't a crisis won't make it go away" by George Monbiot.
I think CC is real and that there is a lot to support it. Yes these emails do make me question it. But a unethical scientist does not mean that every thing is untrue.

Russia had its warmest winter in living memory,3 years ago.Glaciers receding up to 70% in South America since 1998.Lengthy destructive rainy seasons in Asia.BUT,I put this 'largely' down to natural cycles in history.Bitter freezing winter in 1709, and baking hot years 800AD 1300 AD.
What I mean with "throwing the baby out with the bath water" is that understandable mistrust due to how this one has been hijacked as a "useful crisis" to restrict freedom and tax, makes people scoff at common sense and environment sensitive sustainable living out of spite. Recently someone commented that people should be wary of seeing the two as one and the same. Wisdom in how we live,I support and practice to a degree. State tyranny forcing people to live that way, I certainly do not.

I think the ends of the apparent GW scandal is to help kick-start undeveloped countries, which is a good thing but it looks to be based on lies, while corrupt people involved make millions, a hidden means to an end. Lol yes, a lot of brainwashing about patriotism over here, selling little flags. I never got sucked into it. No big shockers in the emails so far, will it fade away???

i agree,definately looks like the scientific community is very political and cliquey,often saying whatever the people funding them want to hear..scientists who are only loyal to the truth usually get pushed out of the clique,while the yes men rise to the top and become very successful.
wish more people would make vids like this,its like getting a guided tour of new+unexplored areas ..good advice about honesty + conscience btw,your mum sounds smart
