@fraserd123 hey. No you dont. However, if you just have single dish, you can only watch either all european chanels or else all sky uk channels. Since they are on different satellites then you can only watch the 1 package with a single dish.

No you dont have to pay for the service. But you can enjoy paid programs through cable and ethernet connected to this receiver. Only when you use smart card to watch paid channels that you have to pay.

Great box. I recommend Nabilosat 12 image and buy yourself a homeplug to go with it. The built in youtube player is also excellent. Shop around and you can easily pick up a cheap 500gb hdd to fit inside the box for pvr.

This is very similar to the non PVR Dreambox 800HD .. Software is the same but the non PVR has some extra features like a built in DVD player and USB etc. Nothing major :) I still like the PVR for recording programs :D

Lovely receiver .. The Dreambox 800 HD is the same as the PVR only without a hard drive :) I don't really see the need in a hard drive but it would be nice to record some programs :D

@comeflywithfahad : I don't have a box like that but I think you can, just find a DVI TO DVI cord instead of the DVI TO HDMI provided with the box and give it a try. or you can try a DVI TO VGA through if you don't have a DVI port in your computer monitor.
