Lucas and Ashley weren't live when thy sang but the reason is because they are Sharpay and Ryan and they had to dance for the crowd and they'd be all out of breath if try did both at the same time. Vanessa and drew were singing cause they just had to stand in one place!

@xSJJACKSONx Zac was filming Hairspray, so the had Drew fill in for him. Drew sang for him in the first movie, so it just made sense. Zac's voice is good, but it's a baritone voice and the songs in the first movie were written for a tenor.

This isn´t Lucas, it is AndrewSeeley. He dubbed Zac, because he had something with the vocal cords. Therefore, he sings, because Zac can not sing. But only on HSM 1.
