@kelubi99 Ummm, I have a Powershot A470 not sure what you mean by the battery draining fast after a year... since they are replicable AA batteries, not built in rechargeable ones. The only other battery is a little CR1220 which is easy to replace and I don't think there that expensive, course I've had mine 2 years and never had to replace it.

all my video clips were done with that camera but the only probelm is, is that the camera seems to be light sensitive. ive noticed funny white lines and cracks appear on the videos where there is strong sunlight or light bulbs. can anyone resolve that problem and say what causes the problem please?

@roflmunkeys plug the small 3.5" jack into the camera and the two remaining cables into your tv, one is for audio, the other one is for video signal. good luck :)

I've got the silver one, and you really must have rechargable batteries, or else you'll be buying batteries everytime you need to use the camera! I wish it had a charger instead of batteries. I am not too happy with the memory it comes with, VERY low,. Overall, it is a good quality camera.

i found the solution with the issue where the camera was not able to connect to a pc. steps to follow: 1.Install CD software 2.Reboot 3.TURN OFF CAMERA 4. Grab the camera and scroll to the first blue PLAY [ > ] icon. 5.Connect to pc 6.Turn on camera that`s it! please copy and paste my post so that everyone sees it cheers!

640x480 is close to dvd quality and the rec time is depand on your memory card size and video rec setting

It doesn't mean the camera can only record a certain amount of video time. Right now i'm using the 32mb, and I can only record 1 minute worth of video. Just get a 2gb memory card, and you will probably have a good 20 minutes or so of film.
