Thank you very much for your very inspiring comment. I had a TON of fun playing this song, since it was more on the "theatrical" side for me. Reba's got some great songs like that. Great drumming, but I'm just wondering. Was your ride sensor not working well? Sounded like it was cutting out a lot.

YES!!! So glad you noticed that. I always fight with my cymbals and this video definitely gave me alot of trouble. I was about to throw my cymbals out the window. The ride sensor was constantly cutting in and out as well as the snare drum cutting in and out. That is why I invested in the TD-6, for this reason alone. Great observation! :)

You are a good drummer, but I HATE ELETRIC DRUMS. They suck!! Straighten up your crash or just get a real drumset and record yourself. God knows the money you blew on that roland set, you could afford a real drumset, mics & and board. God Bless you! You are a good drummer. I used to have a set of roland v-customs. I got to where I hated them.

Hi-thank you. I can tell you are a Reba fan - good choice of artists to follow. :) Can't wait for the new tour soon. Woohoo! Very observant of you to notice the guitar. Yes, I play that too as well as keys but I always seem to gravitate back to the drums ... and always will - I luv em too much. Starting in October I will move my drums out of my bedroom (finally) & actually put them in my new studio. I can't wait. The guitar may make more appearances then. Glad u like this. I love this song & these 2 singers so that's why I chose to record this song. This version is from CrossRoads last yr, I believe, but don't quote me on that. I have to have every song I record on my iPod because of the way I have my recording equipment & drums set up. Thru my headphones, I have to be able to hear both the music & my drums. Hello - as a follow-up .. I am currently working on getting One Honest Heart down to a tee, almost there. It's actually not as hard as I thought it would be. I should have it recorded & a video made by the end of the wkend. Also working on one other reba song too. It might include Kelly too but I'm not sure yet.

Thank you for your comment. To be honest, I prefer acoustic kits but because I live in a condo and like my neighbors, out of respect to them, I opted for electronic drums - that way I don't have to hold back when I play & I always play with headphones so I don't bother anyone. I have an old Roland TD-7 but have upgraded the snare, ride & crash cymbals, hi-hat, & a new bass. No need to invest in a new kit, just upgrade the old one ... piece by piece :)
