Unlike Ichigo chad seems to be a natural at controlling it or his hollow has not got to the stage Ichigo's has so far. More times Chad finds him self at deaths door, the more his hollow is going to be able to come out.

Well ichigo's main hollow came to be when he was training with uruhara and his soulchain was being eaten/eating itself so thats when it finally came out
