Alright, I've seen Carr play and he's very good, but why did he choose to go to a Div. 5 school. His talent is way beyond Div.5. He's at least Div. 1 or 2. When he played my team, he picked us apart. It was like there was no defense on the field. I just think he should have went to a better school that had a higher division. So, yeah he's good, but should have showed his talent in a better school.

I don't know how this kid learned the whole fricken playbook in 4 months or so? Feathers still is learning it according to the Fresno Bee. And Colburn with all that experience is yet to put up better numbers than Carr? My thinking Carr needs 10 more pounds, but plenty of QB's with heart have played the game well...so I say this kid has 10 pounds of heart...to make up for the weight? Also I think he can throw the ball deeper and more accurate than Feathers and Colburn, that is AMAZING!!

This kid is a savage. I believe Colburn starts this year due to his experience (and maybe more importantly, his size...the guy can truck defenders), but Derek Carr will hopefully see some snaps against UCD. Ideally, I'd like to see each QB get a half, while we save Ebahn for either UW or BSU.

I will say this: FS was lucky as hell to get Carr. I thought for sure that he was going to be a Cal Bear. UCLA offered him verbally after he shut down his recruitment, IIRC.

Junior year in Texas....brother was traded from the Houston Texans to New York Giants....family apparently moved back to Bakersfield. The video administrator is good about getting back to bloggers. No I retired from that a while ago. Let people think what they want. Derek picked Fresno because it was a great oppurtunity for him. Coach Hill told Derek "We need you" and we respect coach Hill, he is a straight shooter and Derek loved what he had to say. Derek is at Fresno because Derek wanted to play there, has nothing to do with his older brother. He is not stupid, he is way beyond his years. Bulldog fans will enjoy watching Derek this year.

Jake is 6-4 1/2 210lbs. Runs 4.60

*Also their Defensive End from this year who had 40 sacks in 2 years is walking on as well. 6-4 230lbs.

*Also BCHS's Left Tackle from last year is either coming to Fresno State or USC after he is done next year at San Fransico Jr. College. 6-6 310lbs. Good feet and NASTY!
