Just gonna throw this to the WW2 debate: Germany lost 3 million to kill 20+ million Russians. In other words each German was worth about 7 Russians. Maybe Germany had to capitulate in the end, they were fighting the entire world, but can you really call that a victory to Russia? They lost much more that Germany ever did. They were on their knees to the USA through the Cold War. They're in misery today. Germany isn't. I'm not German, not being biased, just facts here.

Germany, like the Eurozone and the U.S. isn't exactly on solid footing right now. Before the crisis Russia was one of the fastest growing economies, I believe it still is.

I don't think boasting the only quadruple ace of the Korean War and giving Vietnam its victory is something you can shake a stick at. Forcing the U.S. off the gold standard is no small feat. I still believe that even though the Soviets lost it first, the U.S. empire is limping towards the exit. We'll see.
