  • acer pc with gateway bios?

  • newly reformat PC. my desktop when reformat boots for about 8 sec only =)

  • S L O W

  • 0:18 Windows7 has other loading screen...

  • @owocowy89 its the starter version of windows 7, i dont think that version has a boot up image

  • Mine died, Im gonna get a happy 2.

  • acer is a shit company really dont buy things from them they fail hardcore

  • @miningorb

I have had my desktop off them for 3 years plus not a single problem, i guess its down to how the user uses it and any PC brand can fail, like Cars not every new Merc or BMW that comes off production line works 100% with no problems, same goes with PCs i agree some makes may be better built then a Acer but i have not had any problems with ones i have delt with in past, compaq and hp are the ones i seen most problems but that could be down to their users (not me)

  • Take a look at mac's... They are fast!!! :O

  • 25 seconds

  • i got 25

  • i got 20 sec

  • intel atom cpu is badd man

  • #Not gonna lie... THAT'S WINDOWS VISTA YOU CUNT.

  • @xXMW2VideozXx You're the cunt. The newer w7 boot screen is 1024x768, so on a 1024x600 (or 1024x576) that obviously doesn't work, so I think that's why it has to use that boot screen instead. You didn't look at the taskbar when it loaded did you?

  • @xXMW2VideozXx hey go to hell win7 supports animated boot screen 1024x768-higher

  • that *** is fast!

  • Hibernate!!!

  • noob. Hibernate and shit music

  • Comment removed

  • @marcvie9

    no its win7.

  • It was hard to count with that song when it started Lmao xD

  • pls name is song ?? :) and goood video <3

  • Lol the original OS was windows xp but he upgraded it

  • acer = fail company.

  • @Xextreem And you are fail too ;)

  • @Xextreem I''m a really happy with acer...

  • @kevinn96n96 i hope its a joke

  • actuley it is slow but you can speed things up buy tweaking windows 7

  • luucky guuuy : D

  • my custom made pc once did it in 5 sec!!!

  • lol vista style boot screen that happens when windows 7 is installed on a netbook

  • @Drakho001 no it winadows 7 starter edition thats y

  • Comment removed

  • thats fast for a laptop, but my desktop pc that i built is faster ;p

  • @DJFlamaX my alienware M15x once did it in 4 secs, incluiding user access

  • You can boot up that quickly with a SSD...

  • you use another cpu thats why your computer goes faster

  • not bad but my pc and laptop boot faster.

    basicly instant.

  • ive got an Acer Aspire One 532h and it has an windows index score of 2.3 and i haven't tweaked anything on it lol. i used a 2 gb sd card for ready boost, but im about to order a 2gb stick of ram for it and may change the 160 hdd to a 1tb so i can be a mobile pirate lol

  • my laptop's faster than that with anti virus and a lot of big programs like FL Studio and 3ds Max etc

  • my pc needs 3secs lol

  • Put some Norton virus protection on that baby I bet you will slow that bugger down. All PC's can be fast without virus protection and spyware.

  • no soo fast than mine ....lol

  • You can get a rating up to 2.4 for your CPU in Windows Experience Index using SetFSB. I've overclocked my N270 to 1.75GHz (though some have gone as far as 1.9GHz) and I can tell it's absolutely stable and very, very responsive!

Graphics can also be improved (you'll get a 2.4 there as well) with GMABooster and FSB running at 400MHz, instead of the default 166MHz.

Combine it with a ReadyBoost Class 10 SD Card (~10-20MB/s random read/write) and you'll have a great netbook performance! ;)

  • NOT windows 7. Just a theme.

  • @100zee Don't be fooled by the bootsplash. I have Windows Tiny7 by eXPerience on my netbook (HP Mini 1116NR) and it uses the same bootsplash on there, but if I install Tiny7 on my desktop, it uses the regular Windows 7 bootsplash.

  • @100zee ...how can that be a theme? neither mac nor linux can do that. xp cant do it that fast.

  • @jeslinmx Some Linux distros can do way better. There is actually a setup that takes only 3 seconds for full system startup.

  • @IrishHeroMan i was not referring to boot up. i was referring to theming. although i think kde brings it pretty close now.

  • @100zee A really dumb comment from a really dumb fanboy. What a surprise.

  • @darkangelwings88 thats just the processor brand

  • Comment removed

  • @ERICruz15 dont you mean laptop brand? processor brand would be either intel or AMD, I have a laptop made by gateway.

    My bad if i'm wrong

  • thats ubuntu 10's boot speed on my 2,66gh singlecore P4 without any tweaks =)

  • thats ubuntu 10's boot speed on my 2,66gh singlecore P4 without any tweaks =)

  • LOL WITH NO PROGRAMS DD

  • thats win 7 beta.

  • 1) That is Windows Vista. 2) You booted from Ram that is why the only ocon is the recycle bin, like what it looked like when you first booted from hard disk

  • how do you use the webcam ?????

  • well it may be true if this guy dosent really have any software besides os, office and antivirus and internet

  • bullshlt!! you have modified the video :P

  • @xGuest10101 haha you get that speed if you fix some tweaks and settings, i made my own version of windows 7 and is super fast. I toke away alot of stuffs from the installation and now it only takes up 1GB on a dvd ;) defualt is around 4GB :D

  • Do anyone know how to "disable" the "Logon screen" so it just logs on you user instantly, without password???

  • @PaGNifY Just have one account with no password

  • @DannyEddy357 Thx

  • Noobs this is 7.

  • this is vista

  • hehe i think it is Linux not Win7 :D

  • Haha wat a fag, its windows vista, and if it were to be windows 7 it would load faster anyway because the HUGE difference of specs since its a Notebook not a PC lol

  • @MrPcHackz last time i checked windows vista didnt have pinable task bars, nor did the orbe get completely covered by the tastk bar. you are the fag. fucking moron have you ever seen what 7 even looks like. do this google windows 7.

  • @awsometurkey And last time i checked i have Windows 7 Ultimate Legit???

So you can stfu and watch my video's ass whipe

  • @MrPcHackz rofl so mature. anyway if you didnt notice he has a watermark, meaning its a beta 7. so SHUT YO ASS AND GO TO WIKIPEDIA bitch.

  • One question.... Why would you prefer the old boot loading bar over the nice new one?

  • thats windows vista with a windows 7 theme. look at the boot screen and closely at the taskbar.

  • @canthony1019 its 7 seems release 7100. do more research.

  • my mac boots in 20 secs no modding needed

  • not under 10 secs so not impressed

  • i want windows 7 so bad i hate vista it takes 1 minute to boot up lol

  • fuck fuck fuck fuck im getting one soon. thanks

  • music sucks ballz, idc about the lap

  • my notebook boot faster than urs :D

  • @krasnisi001

thats not a notebook its a netbook.

  • @linuxpowerification yeaa rightt !! :) cause i made a mistake :D

  • Comment removed

  • lol...crappy pc

  • I hate netbooks because they're too small and very ugly.

  • ..and they are all PCs,,, xD

  • How do you manage to get your laptop to boot up that quickly?

As far as My Windows Experience index goes, they're all at least 1 more score higher than yours (HHD is same score).

    Nice though.

Wish my laptop would boot that quickly

    : )

  • lol thats not windows 7 thats vista

  • Comment removed

  • @minxkitty8 no its windows 7. the taskbar is different, unless he added a skin for vista.

  • @minxkitty8 no its Win7 look at start bar and icons on it

  • Owned by Ubuntu . Ubuntu has 10 Seconds

  • mac has 10 seconds too

  • @Rubechillie it should be fast, for all that money you pay for it!

  • @Rubechillie Macs have like 5x faster hardware.

  • @darthirakli

wrong, macs have a faster OS,but for that i like more linux.

  • @o0Deano2k80o ooh explains it ....

  • gosh its slow

    but it boots fast...

  • it's the SSD

  • Why does it say Gateway, and its an acer

  • omg 20 secs!!

  • lolz.

I have a 6.5 year old tablet and it boots win7 up to usable in 24 seconds. It will fire up chrome and have a page loaded in 27 seconds flat.

My PC boots win7 to ready to rock in 12 seconds.

But when I built a slipstreamed version of XP on a 1.8 ghz P4 with 512mb of RAM about 5 years ago, it booted in 14 seconds flat.

    Funny how it all works.

  • Nothing Installed in it.Its True that its Fast..and depend of your Ram,Processor etc..

  • err that wasnt fast... 20 sec, i have an ancient 2000 comp with XP 2000 and it boots in 15 sec.

  • probably it was booting from hibernation.

  • @prhbEasyPrey it was

  • @GTAIVman yep I knew bcause it was too fast for that kind of pc ...lol

  • @GTAIVman no i fit was it whould be saying that. that was the start up logo. i had symeler speedswhen i first installed it one my acer aspire one but he has haked his bios to makeit boot like this. REED THE DESCRIPTION

  • @transboo just because he says there was a bios mod doesn't mean anything. he could have booted from hibernation.

  • I dont know you guys but I think this is a total fake, if you see at 0:11 on the boot screen it comes up a "GATEWAY" boot screen ¬¬ really weird huh ?? cause this is suppoused to be an ACER ONE!!!!! ¬¬

  • @andreztube I have a Packard Bell BIOS on my AspireOne. Gateway, PB & Acer BIOS' are interchangeable. (Same company, same PC, different labels)

  • name of song?

  • hey man i have an acer aspire 1 also but my boot time is like 9 seconds ill make a video of it today and ill tell you what i did in my description but other wise good vid man

  • @codyloc915 Please make this video!

  • Mine takes a long time.. and I can't think of why! I've optimized it and it was booting up fast. in about 30 seconds or maybe 40.. something like that. But now it takes a whopping 3 minutes! I have 12 GB of ram and it says I can only use 11gb. WTF. I have win7Ultimate64edition a intel cpu !7 3.33ghz. I have a 2GB Nvidia GTX285. It does run really fast once it boots up but why so much time to boot up.. Anyone have any ideas? yes I've already done that thing with MSconfig and optimized it.

  • thats because you have other programs that run in the background so you can never use all of your ram.

  • well it shows I only have 3. which are realtek audio, mcafee and the other I have no idea what it is. It says Domino.exe what would Domino.exe is. Anyone knows? lol it is not the game. but it doesn't take long anymore. I believe it is because I had my external HDDs on when I was booting up my pc.But I am still concerned about that domino.exe. oh yeah and I have my Stardock object bar. but that is all.

  • type it in on google and it will tell you if it is important or not then you can remove it.

  • Yeah I got it.. It was this thing from my webcam. So it does start up faster when I turn off my external HDD's that was a relief. But you know what else is a relief? is that I am soon getting a MAC.

  • That was kind of slow... especially from the date of the video. Custom built Alienware Quad-Core Win 7 Ultimate, boots with 5 second boot gate Asus motherboard. Seriously if your going to make us watch a long boot up time, at LEAST let us watch it with good song >:(.

  • What a stupid f'n song. OMGS I GOT A 1.6GHZ COMPUTER let me singg about it fag

  • 30 and 15 sec for W7 and ubuntu respectivly to boot on my laptop.

    Your shit is slow!

  • windows apesta!!!!!!

  • 15-20 seconds ... :D

    with a quad core ...

  • Duel core

    20-25 secs

  • It went faster because No security(log on password) and Had only 1 Desktop Item I mean the basics of why it went fast but your specs are good.

  • Gateway? LOL

  • shit mine is 32.67 sec

  • Toshibas the fastest, 14 sec flat thats as fast as my mac :)

  • Mine loads Faster.

  • @TheMadTutorials same aser aspire 5520 1500 dollars with blu ray and everything

  • @MistaBigBoss no i dont have aspire

  • @TheMadTutorials i mean: same, i have an aspire 5520 1500 dollars with blu ray and everything

  • how in the hell are you going to tell me its fake, once again i have the SAME netbook and the SAME OS the SAME bios and the boot screen looks EXACTLY THE SAME. and my boot times are about the same as his.. this video is NOT fake. that's final. i am done talking about it. do some research dude.....

  • an on a final note as i also said before the Win7 theme package DOES NOT SHOW windows 7 and version number where as a REAL and only a REAL copy does........

  • have you heard of RTm and BETA copies?!?! OWNED!!!

  • i had a beta copy about 6-8 months before release........ and a RTM copy about 2 months before release... DOUBLE OWNED!!!!

  • the theme will not show win 7 info on the screen, besides i have the SAME netbook with the SAME o.s. and it has the SAME boot screen........

  • But I Wanted To Get Windows 7 With The Brand ASUS But I Have ASUS With Windows Vista Home Basic/IN INTEL PENTIUM INSIDE

ASUS WON 3056 AWARDS IN 2008

  • It Has The Windows XP Label/Vista Boot Screen/Windows 7 Logon screen!

    How Can He Do That?????

  • you can CLEARLY see windows 7 at bottom right of screen.

  • w7 bootscreen only if resolution is higher then 768 pixels at the side ;) and most netbook have only 600

  • for the people saying it's Vista, if you didn't know, Netbooks with a smaller screen, have the old vista bootscreen, since the 7 boot screen doesn't fit or something, I don't know :P

  • haha owned^^..it's vista boot screen (0:16)..rofl

  • Muaxaxa,fuck Intel!

AMD is going to rule the world!

  • how the fuck did you get this so fast? my specs are way better than yours

  • How did you get the bios mod I have a acer aspire 5315 with win7 rtm enterprise I like to have a packard bell logo on it

  • Lol Owned

Look like Windows Vista Boot at 0:17

  • @Eragon86micky lol it seems u NEVER installed win7 on a netbook :P that start up is from windows 7(a minimal one i might say) and anyhow i he got the VISTA to boot up in that lil time i bet im going to buy that acer from him NOW! :P nice vid

  • @adminzc

    I know!!

  • Didn't know that Gateway made Acer... Oh wait, they don't.

And that transformation pack... Looks like the real thing.

  • no other way around STUPID FACE!

  • What?

  • My PC is a i7 i boot in 18sec WTF !?

  • HA HA N00B

    i7 is OLD shit, I have a i9 BITCH.

  • ...If Intel /did/ make an i9 (which they didn't) it would actually be lesser than the i7... Their newest processor is the i5.

  • @Mrxb0x you are a bitch.

    @tuggerpuppy1 thats right :D

  • Your boot time is fast (22 secs) but in use it is slow it took your acer aspire one 11 seconds to load microsoft office outlook my computer boots in 20-25secs and loads microsoft office programs in 1-2 seconds

  • HAHA that is very very slow for my pc.

    2 Quad core 2.8 ghz

    6gb

    1tb

    graphics the best ;)

  • Wow, that is seriously impressive, my computer takes like 3 times that time to boot and my Windows Experience Index is:

    Processor: 6.4

    Memory: 6.4

    Graphics: 5.9

    Gaming Graphics: 5.9

    Primary hard disk: 5.8

I have tweaked with a few settings to make windows boot faster, but your computer boots epicly fast =)

  • my windows experience index:

    Processor: 4.8

    Memory (RAM) : 5.9

    Graphics: 3.6

    Gaming Graphics: 4.5

    Primary Hard Disk: 5.1

  • How is this so fast???

    I have a Toshiba with a 2.0Ghz Core2Duo and 4 gigs of RAM running RC1.

First boot after turnon/setup took about 30 seconds, and now I'm down to around 1.5-2 mins! What gives?!

Yes, I know MSConfig and all that. What's the gateway Bios mod?

  • If I understand correctly, you are getting slow boot times even with stuff disabled using MSConfig?

In that case, try to run Disk Defragmenter included with Windows manually. I will not only defragment files but will place boot files sequentially which will lower boot time.

    I hope this will help.

  • Windows 7 refuses to defragment it, insisting that it is "0% fragmented". >.>.

My personal favorite defragmenting tool is jkdefrag, which is now mydefrag. Pretty quick (just a couple hours for my 250gig drive), and very good overall.

  • OK, then fragmentation is not a problem. Sorry, but in that case I have no idea on what's going on. Probably some 'broken' driver takes too long to load or something else is going on.

  • lol look to the left of the net book see the monitor plugin

  • if you look closer, you'll see the monitor isn't plugged into anything. I unhooked the external monitor when i did the demonstration.

  • linux loads from grub to openned firefox in 16 seconds on a celeron...

  • This is only a demonstration. I often leave my computer on so windows loads + opened IE tab in <1second.

  • i can make vista like windows 7

    incusive Bootscreen and Logon screen

    its very simple

  • Tjis isnt windows 7 have a look at the clock and look at the bootlogo

    its windows vista

  • are you blind o.o

this is the beta build (look in the cornor.)

and the logon screen is from 7.

  • i got windows enterprise, and thats not the logon logo, that start up logo its from vista, i dont belive this video. srry dude.

    peace

  • Windows 7 Boots Diff on a laptop than on a regular pc installed them both on my laptop and desktop(same DVD) and it has two different screens

  • its the beta build...
