It's so sad what has happened to the oceans because of us humans. Thank you for posting this for everyone to learn from. I saw this when it aired on Animal Planet and wish that BBC would make it available for sale so it can be shown in classrooms around the world. I added it to my playlists, but could only find bits of it. Do you have the whole show available?

omg this is why we need to recycle but we need to take this kind of thing to younger generation

Plastic takes from 400 to 1 million years to disintegrate.
All plastic migrates toxins into whatever it touches.
Our seas now hold more plastic than plankton.
A 3-million-ton mass of plastic trash swirls in a gigantic eddy in the North Pacific Ocean.
It is bigger than Texas.
Over one million seabirds and over 100,000 sea mammals die each year from eating or being trapped in plastic trash.
