I don't get this, it is a flashback from Kate. But she hadn't even met Jack before the island. Can someone please explain? Could it be jack she replaces with her son in her imagination

@elskerikke No, it's a flashFORWARD. She, Jack, Hurley, Sayid, Sun, and Aaron all got off the island. Here, she is looking after Aaron, raising him as her son because Claire wasn't able to get off the island. Jack doesn't want to see Aaron - perhaps because he's guilty, he recently found out Claire was his sister.

Man. this scene is like full of continuous back to back rejection! Jack wants coffee with Kate > Kate rejects Jack because of Jack's problem with the baby > Kate offers Jack to stop by & visit the baby > Jack rejects that offer. Damn great show. I love L O S T.
